A global leader in their manufacturing field, as a Process Engineer. This role is crucial in developing industrial manufacturing processes for the automotive industry, contributing to improvements in quality and process efficiency through innovative R&D activities.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Utilise data analysis skills and digitalisation techniques to identify trends and correlations in manufacturing processes.
  • Engage in practically led development activities to innovate and solve problems, enhancing process efficiency and product quality.
  • Develop an understanding of specifications to support technical activities across the businesses.
  • Manage projects using the R&D stage-gate system, collaborating with global R&D members and other functions such as Manufacturing, Quality, and Engineering.
  • Lead R&D projects in the shaping technology area, leveraging your expertise to advance our manufacturing capabilities.
  • The role includes occasional global travel to various manufacturing sites .

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Background in a relevant manufacturing industry, with essential experience in industrial manufacturing techniques and process control strategies.
  • Experience in Process or Product development and/or quality control is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical and data analysis skills, with proficiency in using digital tools for large data set analysis.
  • Knowledge of digitalisation techniques applicable to R&D processes.
  • Degree in Physical Science, Mechanical Engineering, or Material Engineering.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
  • European foreign language skills are a plus but not necessary.
