We are seeking Band 6 Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists to provide expert care within acute hospital and rehabilitation environments. This exciting role offers placements in the post-operative care ward and the Elective Orthopaedic ward, working with patients recovering from surgical, trauma, and orthopaedic procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a clinical caseload, providing ongoing assessment, treatment, rehabilitation, and discharge planning.
  • Work with surgical and orthopaedic patients to facilitate recovery and ensure safe discharge.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
  • Support and implement principles of HomeFirst and Single-Handed Care where applicable.
Essential Requirements:
  • HCPC Registration as a Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist.
  • Experience working in acute hospital or rehabilitation settings.
  • Knowledge of managing surgical and trauma patients in post-operative care.
  • Understanding of local discharge pathways (desirable but not essential).
  • Familiarity with HomeFirst and Single-Handed Care principles (desirable but not essential).
