Management Accountant - Food and Drink
Greater London/Kent border (4 days office/ 1-day WFH)
c£52.5k plus EOT share scheme
Our client:
- Are a global sourcing and supply partner to the UK food industry.
- Very proud to supply products of the highest quality and responsibly sourced (AA BRCGS accredited) across an extensive & expanding customer base across retail, manufacturing, and foodservice
- They are now looking to appoint a Management Accountant who will progress to replace the Finance Director in the next 18-24 months
Role:
- As Management Accountant you will report directly to the Board of Directors and oversee the Finance and IT functions, and managing two direct reports.
- This role involves producing monthly and annual financial accounts, budgeting, cash flow management, and foreign currency handling, alongside overseeing daily financial operations, IT systems, and supplier contracts.
- This role offers a clear pathway to a Finance Director position within two years, alongside competitive benefits
Candidate profile:
- Entrepreneurial spirit and career hungry Management Accountant keen to progress to Finance Director.
- Full UK driving license.
- Management Accountant ideally with experience working within an FMCG supplier business
- Excellent communication skills - this Management Accountant will be front-and-centre with a number of key stakeholders so people-skills are a must
- Driven and ready to get hands-on with day-to-day tasks
- Resilient and able to work with pace
- Creative and able to challenge the status quo
In return, we offer a salary range of c£52.5k plus EOT share scheme, pension, holiday etc. This role is based in Orpington 4 days a week, with one day WFH.
