Our client based in Orpington, Kent is looking to appoint a full-time, driven, dynamic Accounts Payable Assistant. This is an exciting opportunity for you to join the team and develop your skillset. This position is well suited to a candidate who is a self-starter or recent graduate who can manage their workload and has strong communication skills. Â Starting in Accounts Payable and developing your career in Accountancy, you will report to the Finance Manager and be responsible for the following.
- Posting invoices and managing credit notesÂ
- Supplier statement reconciliation
- Support in ledger closures and month-end processes
- Efficient management of Purchase Orders and assisting with supplier setup and maintenance
- Posting bank and credit card transactions, payment allocation
- Bank reconciliations
- Posting journals
