Sales Consultant

Our client based in Orpington is seeking a new Sales Consultant to join their team within the renewable energy industry. Working fully on-site Monday - Friday 09:00 - 17:00, with the occasional travel to exciting sales events and client site visits.

As the Sales Consultant you will be offered an impressive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 with a great commission scheme in place.

The Sales Consultant will play a crucial role in growing demand of renewable energy solutions from housing developers and commercial clients. You will be responsible for expanding client portfolios, supporting overall sales and generating leads through B2B.

Responsibilities as a Sales Consultant:

  • Identify potential sales leads through necessary leads, whilst maintaining/updating the database
  • Obtain relevant information to help create competitive quotes
  • Provide necessary support in client pre-start meetings
  • Build/maintain relationships with new and existing clients
  • Track sales progress/report KPI's from sales and invoiced targets
  • Conduct market research and analyse feedback to create sales strategies
  • Update CRM systems and prepare weekly sales reports

Requirements as a Sales Consultant:

  • Previous experience in sales or a customer service role is an advantage
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong organisation and time managements skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft office suite with CRM software knowledge
  • Drive to achieve sales targets and adaptability to work in fast-paced environment
  • Creative thinking and a proactive approach to generate sales opportunities
