Joiner / Bench Joiner (Sokup / Masterwood Machinery Operator)

This role requires an experienced Joiner/Bench Joiner, with critical experience operating heavy joinery machinery, specifically Soukup or Masterwood, to fabricate window and door components. The ideal candidate should be proficient in reading and interpreting drawings, using hand tools, performing quality checks, and maintaining a clean workspace. Experience in materials handling, warehouse operations, and fabricating with hardwood, softwood, and Accoya is beneficial.

Main Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate Soukup or Masterwood machinery to fabricate products to specification.
• Read and interpret drawings and job orders.
• Assemble and finish parts using hand tools.
• Perform quality checks to ensure specifications are met.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area.

Required Experience:

• At least 3 years of experience with Soukup or Masterwood machinery.
• Experience in window and door fabrication with hardwood, softwood, and Accoya.

Additional Skills:

• Math skills for measuring and calculating dimensions.
• Ability to work independently and safely.

Benefits & Pay:

• Salary: 30,000 - 40,000 per year.

Working Hours:

• Full-time, Monday to Friday, 10-hour shifts, with overtime available.

Qualifications:

• GCSE or equivalent (preferred).
