Traineee Water Engineer

Job Title: Trainee Water Engineer ( Drivers license required )
Location: Orpington - You must be based within 1 hour of Orpington
Salary:   £28,000 starting basic salary and you can earn up to £34,000 in your first year with 5 hours overtime per week)
Employment:  Full time permanent position
Working week: Monday - Friday 40 hours
Essential Requirements for the role:   Full uk manual drivers license with no more than 6 points + you must be willing and able to work night shifts 1 in 4 weeks.

My client has a vacancy for a Trainee Water Engineer to join their team in South London.
 
For this position you do not require to have any prior water sector background, however not it is ESSENTIAL and ONLY candidate with a full uk manual drivers license and the ability to work nights will be suitable for this vacancy.
 
In this role you will be working attached to Clean Water networks on Thames Water projects, where you will be trained to carry out tasks such as:
 
- Valve operations
- Water quality testing
- Asset identification and verification
- Flow and pressure testing
- Deploying loggers
- Produce site reports
 
This role offer great training, development and career progression which will allow you to progress into a Water Engineer ( pays £30,000 upwards ) within approximately 18 months and scope to further progress into a Senior Engineer role which pays almost £50,000 as a basic.
 
The starting rate for this role is £28,000 + overtime and night allowance and you can realistically earn up to £34,000 in your first year with overtime.
