This is a great opportunity for an experienced and motivated ENERGY ASSESSOR to join a rapidly expanding Energy and Sustainability Consultancy for the Construction Industry and be part of their ongoing success story.

ON-CONSTRUCTION DOMESTIC ENERGY ASSESSOR (OCDEA)

LOCATION: Office based Orpington/ Bromley, Kent.You may be looking for Domestic Energy Assessor jobs in Kent, Orpington, Bromley, London.

SALARY: £30,000 - £35,000 plus benefits, pension, 25 days holiday, professional subscriptions paid, structured training programme, career development into other sustainability areas, team days out, modern offices, potential for career progression.

HOURS:9am-5.30pm, Monday-Friday. Flexible hours and home working options available.

Working closely with construction team professionals from all sectors of the Construction Industry and the Built Environment including, Major Developers, Local Authority, Architects, MEP Consultants, Building Contractors and Clients to ensure that legislative requirements are met, and SAP Calculations and Energy Performance Certificates are delivered.

Key duties and responsibilities will include:

* Undertake Residential Energy Assessments.

* Prepare SAP modelling and EPCs for new and existing buildings.

* Provide energy consultancy.

* Prepare energy strategy and decarbonisation reports.

* Attend design team meetings.

* Utilise resources from within the team to ensure that the client receives timely advice and high-quality assessments.

* Build and develop relationships with clients and multi-disciplinary design team members.

You will be a team player, be self-motivated, have attention to detail, strong communication/ relationship building skills and be competent in using Energy Modelling Software, Microsoft Office, AutoCAD to fully enjoy this challenging yet rewarding career.

You will ideally have at least one year experience working as a New Build Domestic Energy Assessor (OCDEA). You will have a good knowledge of construction, sustainability, planning and building regulations, ideally within a building / construction Consultancy environment.
