Your new companyA media company in Kent is looking for a new credit controller to cover maternity on a 12-month FTC.Your new role

  • Regularly reach out to clients with outstanding balances to ensure timely payments, maintaining clear and consistent communication to swiftly address any issues.
  • Keep comprehensive records of all client interactions to track progress and resolve disputes efficiently.
  • Ensure the portfolio is managed to the appropriate level, meeting all necessary standards and requirements.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to all clients, addressing their needs and concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Accurately preparing and sending sales invoices, ensuring all sales invoices are sent out accurately and on time.
  • Generate weekly and monthly aged debt reports to monitor outstanding balances, and work towards monthly KPIs and targets to reduce debtor days and improve cash flow
  • Regular accurate and updated forecasts of upcoming cash requirements

What you'll need to succeed

  • 2+ years Credit Control experience with a great track record
  • Excellent communication skills, great phone manner.
  • Not afraid to pick up the phone and build relationships
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Team player and professional attitude.
