We are currently seeking a dedicated Additional Learning Support Assistant to join a fantastic education establishment on a temporary basis. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting students both inside and outside the classroom, to ensure they can fully access the curriculum and achieve their potential.

SEND Learning Assistant

  • Location: South East London
  • Job Type: 3-5 days
  • Salary: £15ph
  • Start Date: Immediate

Day-to-day of the role of an SEND Learning Assistant:

  • Assist the classroom teacher by supporting individual students during lessons, keeping them on task with their learning.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff to support student progress and achievement, helping students complete tasks to deadline and reach their full potential.
  • Ensuring student records are kept up to date
  • Abiding by the education safeguarding policy

Required Skills & Qualifications for the SEND Learning Assistant role:

  • Experience in supporting young people with additional learning needs.
  • Commitment to promoting equal opportunities and inclusivity.
  • Flexibility and willingness to undertake a variety of tasks to support students.
  • An Enhanced DBS On the update system or to apply for a new one.
