A leading training provider is seeking Electrical Training Officers to assess, guide, and support apprentices across the Southern region.
The RoleAs an Electrical Training Officer, you will:
- Assess and mentor apprentices to ensure they meet industry standards.
- Work closely with employers to support apprentice placements and training.
- Conduct reviews and skills assessments, ensuring apprentices are on the right pathway.
- Provide constructive feedback and set learning targets.
- Support apprentices in preparing for End-Point Assessments.
- Promote career opportunities through schools and industry events.
- Maintain compliance with safeguarding, Prevent, and health & safety policies.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A recognised electrical qualification (NVQ Level 3, Apprenticeship, or equivalent).
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (or willingness to upskill).
- Relevant industry experience as a qualified electrician.
- GCSE English & Maths (A-C/9-4) or equivalent.
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
- Assessor qualifications (D32, D33, A1, TAQA).
- 2391 or equivalent Testing & Inspection qualification.
- A Health & Safety qualification (IOSH Managing Safely).
- Knowledge of the building services engineering sector.
- An Enhanced DBS check will be required.
