Electrical Technician (Entry-Level)
Location: Farnborough
Salary: £25,000

We are looking for a motivated Entry-Level Electrical Technician to join our team in Farnborough. This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking a long-term career path with growth potential. The role is based in our workshop and will provide hands-on experience, starting with the basics of electrical assembly for capital equipment used in the FMCG/food sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Learn the fundamentals of electrical assembly by working on capital equipment.
- Shadow senior engineers to understand all aspects of assembly, testing, and refurbishment.
- Progress through various departments to gain exposure to every aspect of the workshop processes.
- Wiring into control panels on sub assembled packaging machinery
- Liaising with various department through the build phase
Requirements:
- A basic electrical qualification (or equivalent).
- Strong interest in pursuing a career in electrical engineering, particularly within an industrial setting.
- Willingness to learn and develop over time.
- Ability to understand electrical diagrams
- Experience with wiring into control panels
- Sponge mentality someone who really takes notes and wants to progress
