Electrician – Testing Engineer | South East London | Full Time | £38,000 - £43,000 + Bonus Earnings & Overtime Available

Our client is a trusted name in electrical contracting, delivering high-quality work across domestic, commercial, and maintenance sectors, including fire alarms, emergency lighting, social housing, local authorities, schools, and EV charging contracts. Operating across London and the South East, they take pride in their skilled team of electrical engineers.

They are currently seeking motivated and skilled Electricians to join their Domestic EICR & remedial contracts. If you have a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to carry out testing and inspection to a high standard, our client wants to hear from you!

Are you the right person for the job?

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
  • City & Guilds 2382 (18th Edition Wiring Regulations) or equivalent
  • City & Guilds 2391 (or equivalent) is desirable but not essential (competence will be assessed)
  • Experience in Social Housing/Domestic Testing (preferred)
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Enhanced DBS Check will be required upon appointment

What will your role look like?

  • Conducting EICRs on domestic properties and communal areas
  • Carrying out remedial works, including consumer unit replacements, light fittings, and general electrical accessories
  • Upgrading communal areas, including lighting and intakes
  • Performing full and partial rewires following unsatisfactory EICRs
  • Diagnosing and resolving electrical faults
