A leading training provider is seeking an enthusiastic Electrical Tutor to deliver high-quality teaching and support to apprentices, helping them become skilled, confident, and job-ready electricians.

The Role:

In this position, you will play a key role in delivering engaging, high-quality training for the Level 3 Installation and Maintenance Electrician apprenticeship programme. This is an opportunity to shape the future workforce by going beyond standard teaching and inspiring apprentices to excel in both their qualifications and professional development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver engaging and interactive theoretical and practical training sessions.
  • Provide constructive feedback to apprentices, ensuring a deep understanding of electrical principles and practical applications.
  • Guide and mentor apprentices through their training, supporting them in achieving their final assessments.
  • Foster a positive and professional learning environment that promotes confidence, resilience, and skill development.
  • Encourage personal growth by embedding key employability, literacy, numeracy, and digital skills into training.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum resources and teaching methodologies.
  • Ensure the highest standards of safeguarding, health and safety, and professionalism.
What You'll Need:

Essential:

  • Level 3 Electrical qualification (or equivalent) with strong technical knowledge and industry experience.
  • Minimum Level 2 qualification in Maths and English (or equivalent).
  • Strong communication and IT skills, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.

Desirable:

  • Health & Safety qualification (e.g., IOSH Managing Safely).
  • Assessor or teaching qualifications (e.g., D32, D33, A1, TAQA, Certificate in Education, or equivalent).
  • Internal Verifier qualifications (D34, V1, TAQA).

An Enhanced DBS check will be required.
