Job description

At empowering learning, we are working with a client based in the Bromley borough to support the needs delivering education and skills within an alternative provision to support students with Construction lessons and beyond and has an exciting opportunity for full-time Construction support TA or Graduate, during term time only.

The main function of this role is to support the practical, and vocational learning of students studying Construction, and in the workshop using practical equipment.

The successful candidate will have significant demonstrable experience in engaging with students to support high quality outcomes and hold a qualification.

Job Responsibilities

  • Able to work with groups or 1:1 support within the classroom
  • Supporting pupils with SEMH , Autism & Learning Difficulties.
  • Encourage, engage and support pupils with their learning & development

The School: is a school based in the Bromley the school is an SEMH ( Social Emotional Mental Health) specialist school.

The school has gone from strength to strength to ensure the Accessibility for the students.

They look for candidates to work one to one and in small groups with the students, you must be enthusiastic and have the knowledge or want to learn and trained to work with SEND.

You must have:

  • Experience of working with children with SEND or mainstream education, Autism ADHD or SLD
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • An excellent knowledge of the specialist curriculum area and how it may be effectively taught.
