The role of New Business Client Manager will be to build strong relationship with both new and existing clients and nurturing of both inbound and outbound leads.
Key responsibilities of the New Business Client Manager - Publication & Events:
- Sustain and grow existing revenue streams while identifying and securing new business opportunities.
- Develop a deep understanding of Industry trends, market dynamics and Client business models and offerings.
- Drive new business development while nurturing existing relationships.
- Align personal and brand revenue targets with a clear strategy for achievement.
- Attend client meetings and presentations to foster strong relationships.
- Conduct competitor analysis, monitor market trends, and share insights with the team.
- Provide clients with campaign performance reports, summarising key insights and outcomes.
- Participate in relevant industry exhibitions, conferences, and training sessions (including potential international travel).
- Continuously develop sales and technical skills through training and professional development.
- Maintain accurate records in CRM, competitor analysis reports, and expense tracking.
- Plan and coordinate travel, meetings, and business opportunities effectively.
- Assess brand performance and forecast potential revenue based on individual contributions.
- Support team development by sharing knowledge, coaching, and mentoring individuals.
Key requirements of this New Business Client Manager - Publication & Events-
- Ideally having 2-3 years' experience in B2B media sales across a comprehensive product portfolio, print, digital, events, or conferences.
- You must have experience lending to more Business Development than just Account Management.
- Strong commercial acumen and experience in driving business and profit growth.
- Proficient in IT with advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and Knowledge and use CRM.
- You must have a car & full driving license
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and strong time management skills.
- Expertise in building and leading effective relationships to ensure timely and accurate information sharing.
- Keeps up to date with new procedures, media, industry knowledge, and legislation.
