Due to expansion, an experienced Claims Manager is sought for a permanent role at a Bromley based law firm. The firm has links to the insurance industry and specialises in dealing with matters arising from RTA claims. This is a full-time role with the opportunity for hybrid working following a settling in period as well as training and support to provide career progression. 聽 Role involves: 路Provide guidance, training and mentorship to team members 路Monitor individual and team performance to ensure productivity and quality targets are met, escalate concerns accordingly 路Overseeing the processing of claims, reviewing and approving 路Undertake file reviews, supervision and sign off on Court documents 路Conduct internal Audits for Fee Earners to maintain effective case management and ensure SLA's are complied with 路Ensure the team adheres to all legal and regulatory requirements 路Conduct one-to-one with Fee Earners reviewing complex claims and technical advice 路Completing audits for files for external insurer audits 路General supervisory duties including monitoring of timekeeping, holidays and sick leave 路Complete staff probationary reviews and appraisals where necessary 路Staff recruitment, including arranging and conducting interviews 路Manage team training needs and creating training material delivered to both Fee Earners and Insurer Clients 路Make recommendations for process improvements/areas of change and implement new processes and documents by collaborating with IT to implement the system changes 路Participate in conference calls with insurer client as to team progress and general reporting 路Ability to motivate and inspire the team in the office and remotely. 路Undertake appropriate training and development in relation to the role. 路Adhoc duties of a reasonable nature which may be requested from time to time. 聽 Required experience/qualifications 路Previous experience in insurance claims processing, with at least 1 year supervisory role and full civil litigation knowledge running a litigated portfolio 路Strong decision-making abilities, conflict resolution and problem-solving skills 路Data analysis and interpretation skills, using data from a variety of sources 路Ability to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement across your team 路Clear and concise verbal and written communication 路Ability to convey complex information in an understandable way to a range of audiences 路Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines 路Attention to detail in reviewing claims and documentation 路Dedication to providing excellent customer service 路Empathy and understanding when dealing with team and client needs 路Ensuring team members understand and follow compliance requirements 路Flexibility to adjust to changes in processes or regulations 路Willingness to learn and implement new technologies, strategies, and ways of working 路Excellent leadership and team-building skills 路Effective communication skills, both verbal and written 聽 Benefits: 路Hybrid working (after successful completion of training and your probationary period) 路Buy and sell Holiday 路Training and development to support career progression 路Access to our reward hub which includes retail discounts and health & well being 路Paid volunteer time to support our chosen charity 路Additional day off for your birthday 路Company events 路Company pension 聽 This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a firm that place their clients at the heart of what they do whether working with large corporate clients or individuals.
