We are currently working with a ‘good’ Primary School is located in Orpington who are recruiting for a KS2 class teacher for a long term role.

Our client is seeking a full time enthusiastic, caring and dedicated KS2 Class teacher work in a Year 3 class to work 5 days per week and to start in January 2025 to work until the Summer Holidays. They are looking for someone who has a passion for working with children in an exciting and dynamic environment, where the children are at the heart of everything they do.

This school has a welcoming and supportive staff and friendly, polite and enthusiastic children who enjoy their learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish a safe, organised and stimulating environment that fosters curiosity, independence and celebrates pupils’ achievements.
  • To take responsibility for the progress of all pupils in the class.
  • Set clear targets for pupils’ learning, building on prior attainment, and ensuring pupils are aware of the substance and purpose of what they are asked to do
  • To adhere to all school Safeguarding policies and procedure and to be familiar with and support the aims, ethos and policies of the school
  • Work closely with parents and carers for the benefit of the children

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching within a primary school
  • Strong classroom management skills with the ability to create a positive learning environment and excellent communication and interpersonal skills
