Are you an experienced office professional looking for your next challenge in a dynamic and supportive school environment? We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Office Manager to join a mainstream primary school in Orpington.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the efficient operation of the school office, ensuring high standards of administration and communication
  • Manage administrative systems, processes, and procedures to support the smooth running of the school
  • Provide administrative support to the leadership team
  • Liaise with parents, staff, and external agencies, ensuring excellent customer service and confidentiality

Qualifications & Experience:

We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

  • NVQ Level 4 or equivalent qualification, or significant experience in a relevant discipline
  • Several years of senior-level office experience, ideally within an educational setting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with Bromcom or other Management Information Systems (MIS)
  • Proven ability in maintaining and developing administrative systems
  • Strong understanding of databases and the ability to produce reports and statistics
  • Full knowledge of relevant policies, codes of practice, and legislation
  • Experience in working with the general public and excellent interpersonal skills
