Lyca Health Orpington are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Health Care Assistant for 15 hours per week to support our Patients and Nursing staff in our Breast Care Clinic. As a valued member of our clinical support team you will be responsible for providing consistently high standards of care, interaction and communication to ensure the very best patient experience throughout their appointment.

This role is ideal for 15 hours per week and will suit someone who has previously worked as a Clinical Support Worker or Health Care Support worker in a hospital environment.

Role Responsibilities include:A Health Care Assistant in our Breast Care Service will:Be in attendance at the breast clinics to support clinical colleaguesSupport patients and their families where appropriate through all stages of the pathway.Chaperone patients within various specialitiesTreat patients with respect and dignity and maintain patient privacy and confidentiality at all times

Person Specification:Possess a caring and compassionate attitudeHold an NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalentBe enthusiastic with a real interest in caring for peopleBe able to demonstrate high levels of mental resilience in order to work in a changing and often challenging environmentBe highly committed, have excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise professional boundaries at all times
