Claims Handler

The Role
As a Litigator / Claims Handler, you will:

  • Manage a varied caseload, including liability disputes, repairs, credit hire, and small claims.
  • Oversee all stages of litigation, ensuring adherence to deadlines and quality standards.
  • Draft court documents, statements, and negotiate settlements with precision.
  • Collaborate with clients, courts, insurers, brokers, solicitors, and barristers.
  • Proactively allocate settlement funds and maintain a well-managed diary system.

The Ideal Candidate
The successful Litigator / Claims Handler will have:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in case handling/file handling within the legal or insurance sectors.
  • In-depth knowledge of Civil Procedure Rules for RTA/Motor Insurance Claims (credit hire experience is desirable).
  • Strong communication, organisational, and multitasking abilities.
  • A proactive mindset, capable of delivering high-quality results both independently and in a team.
