Claims Manager

A well-established and growing law firm is seeking a Claims Manager to lead their talented team of claims handlers. This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking practice that values collaboration, development, and innovation.

The Role
As a Claims Manager, you will:

  • Provide training, guidance, and mentorship to team members to drive performance.
  • Oversee claims processing, review and approve claims, and ensure compliance with service-level agreements.
  • Conduct file reviews, supervise court document preparation, and perform internal and external audits.
  • Manage team training needs, deliver presentations, and develop training materials.
  • Participate in client reporting and make process improvement recommendations.
  • Handle recruitment, staff reviews, and appraisals while fostering a motivated and cohesive team.

The Ideal Candidate
You will have:

  • Previous experience in insurance claims processing, including at least one year in a supervisory role.
  • In-depth knowledge of civil litigation and experience managing litigated portfolios.
  • Exceptional communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with a keen eye for trends and process improvements.
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and inspire a team, both in-office and remotely.
