Legal PA / Secretary – Dispute Resolution
(especially Personal Injury, Employment and Contentious Probate)

We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Legal PA / Legal Secretary to join our busy, friendly, professional and diverse law firm based in Orpington, which focuses upon the high quality of its services.

The ideal candidate will provide crucial administrative support and secretarial duties to a senior solicitor, and contribute to the efficiency of the team. They will have competent IT, MS Office and excellent typing skills together with exceptional organisational skills.

Legal PA / Secretary - Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • accurate audio typing;
  • managing legal documents, correspondence and case files;
  • liaising with clients and third parties by telephone, written communication and in person;
  • dealing with initial enquiries from prospective new clients;
  • diary management including managing ‘key dates’ and organising client meetings;
  • use of computerised legal case management and accounts software for recording costs of work in progress;
  • legal research;
  • billing communication with clients, colleagues and any external agencies as required.
