Our client who specialises in providing sustainable and energy-efficient solutions for both residential and commercial clients, is looking for a Project Manager (Solar PV) to join their growing team. In this role you will lead the planning, execution and delivery of solar PV installation projects as well as manage a small team of Solar PV Installers. Responsibilities:
- Create project plans with timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
- Collaborate with clients, engineers, and contractors to define project goals
- Conduct site evaluations and work with design teams on system layouts
- Ensure compliance with regulations and obtain necessary permits
- Oversee installations, manage teams, and maintain high-quality standards
- Monitor project progress, provide updates, and assess risks
- Implement safety and performance measures
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, addressing any concerns
- Manage project handover, maintenance, and performance monitoring
Skills and experience required:
- 2+ years of project management experience (solar or construction preferred)
- Strong knowledge of solar PV systems and renewable energy technologies
- Proven track record of managing solar PV installation projects from inception to completion
- Proficient in project management software.
- Excellent communication, organisation, leadership and negotiation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Project Management
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
- Solar PV Installer Certification is a plus
