**Job Title: Contract SEN School Cleaner

Outstanding SEND School in Orpington is seeking a diligent and reliable Contract SEN School Cleaner to join our team for an immediate start! The successful School Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment in the reception area, classrooms, and other school facilities. The role requires adherence to health and safety guidelines, including COSHH regulations.
- Experience working as a school cleaner is ideal
- Clean and sanitize reception areas, classrooms, restrooms, and other school facilities.
- Previous experience in a cleaning role, preferably within an educational setting.
- Knowledge of COSHH regulations and safe use of cleaning chemicals.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as hoovers and floor polishers.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Good communication skills and ability to work independently.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Perform regular hoovering, dusting, mopping, and wiping of surfaces.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment and materials are used and stored safely according to COSHH regulations.
- Empty and dispose of waste in accordance with school policies.
- Replenish cleaning supplies and report any shortages or maintenance issues.
- Follow a daily and weekly cleaning schedule to ensure all areas are maintained to a high standard.
- Respond to any urgent cleaning requirements as needed.
- Maintain a professional and courteous manner when interacting with staff and students.
- You have an in date Enhanced DBS on the update service or able to pay for a new one immediately
- You live in easy commutable distance to Orpington
