TPF Recruitment, Kent’s leading accountancy practice recruitment agency is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of an excellent chartered accountancy practice based in Sidcup. We are seeking a highly motivated Payroll Senior to join their dynamic team.

As a Payroll Senior, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the payroll process for a diverse portfolio of clients, primarily made up of simpler director only payrolls and smaller companies. You will have a great opportunity to build strong working relationships with your clients in this  client facing position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Processing end-to-end payrolls accurately and efficiently within set deadlines.
  • Ensuring compliance with all payroll-related legislation and contractual obligations.
  • Communicating regularly with clients regarding gross pay rates, net pay, HMRC liabilities, staff changes, deductions, and expenses.
  • Performing reconciliations of HMRC liabilities.
  • Providing expert payroll advice to clients and responding to employee payroll queries.
  • Assisting clients with payroll reporting requirements.
  • Supporting the setup of new PAYE schemes and onboarding of new payrolls.
  • Performing manual payroll calculations when required.
Requirements

Payroll Administrator Sidcup

  • Demonstrated experience as a Payroll Specialist or in a similar role.
  • Comprehensive understanding of payroll regulations and procedures.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion and integrity.
