Job Description:
We are looking for an enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant with strong IT skills to support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a large secondary school. This role involves assisting students to access the curriculum, implementing personalised learning plans, and using an AI-powered robot to enhance their learning experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 and group support to students with SEN in various subjects.
  • Use and assist students in using the AI robot for interactive learning activities.
  • Troubleshoot and ensure the AI technology is operating effectively.
  • Track and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback to teachers and parents.
  • Foster an inclusive, positive, and supportive classroom environment.
  • Work collaboratively with the SENCo and other staff to deliver tailored support for students with additional learning needs.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Experience supporting students with SEN in a secondary school setting.
  • Strong IT skills, including familiarity with educational technology and AI tools.
  • Ability to learn quickly and manage technological tools such as AI robots.
  • Excellent communication skills with students, teachers, and parents.
  • Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Desirable:

  • Experience using AI, robotics, or other technology in education is a bonus.
