SEN Teaching Assistant – Immediate Start
Location: London Borough of Bromley
School Type: Specialist SEN School
Salary: £85 - £95 per day depending on experience (PAYE)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM
Are you passionate about supporting children and young people with special educational needs? We are looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school in Bromley. In this role, you'll support students with diverse needs, including PMLD, SLD, ASD, SEMH, behavioural challenges, and some wheelchair users.
Your Role:- Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with a range of learning needs.
- Assist with personal care and mobility needs, including helping wheelchair users.
- Use positive strategies to manage challenging behaviours.
- Work closely with teachers and professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students.
- Help create a safe and engaging learning environment.
- Experience working with SEN children or young people is essential.
- A caring, patient, and flexible approach.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Willingness to assist with personal care and physical support if needed.
- Make a real difference in students’ lives.
