SEN Teaching Assistant – Immediate Start

Location: London Borough of Bromley
School Type: Specialist SEN School
Salary: £85 - £95 per day depending on experience (PAYE)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Are you passionate about supporting children and young people with special educational needs? We are looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching  Assistant to join a specialist school in Bromley. In this role, you'll support students with diverse needs, including PMLD, SLD, ASD, SEMH, behavioural challenges, and some wheelchair users.

Your Role:
  • Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with a range of learning needs.
  • Assist with personal care and mobility needs, including helping wheelchair users.
  • Use positive strategies to manage challenging behaviours.
  • Work closely with teachers and professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students.
  • Help create a safe and engaging learning environment.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Experience working with SEN children or young people is essential.
