We are seeking an experienced and empathetic Dyslexia Tutor to join our secondary school team in Orpington. The ideal candidate will hold a Level 5 qualification in Dyslexia and have a strong understanding of the curriculum, with proven experience teaching and supporting students with dyslexia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, tailored lessons for students 1:1 or in small groups.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of the national curriculum and apply strategies to support learning.
  • Foster a nurturing, supportive, and confident learning environment.
  • Build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents to ensure progress and engagement.
  • Use evidence-based strategies to identify and support individual learning needs.

What we're looking for:

  • Level 5 qualification in Dyslexia or equivalent.
  • Proven experience teaching students with dyslexia or specific learning difficulties.
  • Strong understanding of the curriculum and ability to plan structured, engaging lessons.
  • Empathetic, patient, and nurturing, with excellent interpersonal skills.
