Renault Orpington is looking for a Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester to join our dealership’s workshop.
The role involves diagnosis and repair of cars and vans to the highest standards whilst maintaining optimal efficiencies and first-time fix.
Candidates ideally should have main dealer qualifications from any automotive manufacturer along with a MOT Tester Certification.
Alongside main dealer qualifications, we expect candidates to hold City & Guilds or NVQ level III in Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, be fully equipped with own tools and hold a full UK Driver’s licence in order to carry out diagnostic test drives.
The hours for this job are Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm with 30 min lunch, plus 1-in-4 Saturday mornings on rota, 8:30am to 12:30pm.
In return we offer a basic salary of £37,246 per annum. This comprises £36,000 pa for weekday work + £1,246 pa for 1-in-4 Saturday mornings paid at time-and-a-half. We operate a monthly efficiency bonus that is paid on top of this which add circa £4,000-£6,000 pa to your earnings.
