Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a leading company based in Ossett. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a competitive salary of £45,000 per year, with a shift pattern of days, afters, and nights from Monday to Friday (no weekends). Key Responsibilities:
- Perform planned and reactive maintenance on electrical systems and machinery
- Troubleshoot and repair faults in electrical equipment and machinery
- Ensure electrical equipment is maintained to high safety and quality standards
- Work closely with the wider maintenance team to ensure smooth operations
- Support continuous improvement efforts in maintenance processes and procedures
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports
Required Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience in electrical maintenance, preferably within a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting techniques
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Flexibility to work across different shifts (days, afters, nights)
- A recognised electrical qualification (e.g., City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent)
