Description
- Lead and motivate the engineering team to achieve departmental objectives.
- Implement and maintain safety standards and procedures in line with industry practices.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Oversee maintenance and repair of machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Monitor and manage team performance to ensure targets are met.
- Plan and manage budgets related to the engineering department.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in the FMCG industry.
Profile
A successful Engineering Team Leader should have:
- NVQ Level 3 in Engineering
- Team leader experience
- Proven experience in a leadership role within the FMCG industry.
- Strong knowledge of Engineering & Manufacturing processes and standards.
- Excellent team management and motivational skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in using relevant engineering tools and software.
