PK Education are recruiting for a teacher of Physical Education on behalf of an oversubscribed and successful school in Wakefield. This post is full time 5 days per week and is starting ASAP, running until the end of the Academic year.

The school is firmly committed to establishing first class standards and expectations are high, the school has a successful academic record and has been judged as a GOOD school.

Ideally the right candidate will be a qualified PE Teacher with the ability to teach some Health & Social Care.

We would like to hear from Secondary PE teachers who offer high levels of enthusiasm and motivation, who will engage and inspire pupils to take part in KS3 & 4 PE. Experience teaching KS5 would be desirable but it is not essential and we are welcoming applications from experienced Teachers and ECTs.

To be considered for this role you must:

  • Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised UK teaching qualification
  • Have an enhanced DBS on the update service, or be willing to undertake a new disclosure
  • Possess good knowledge of the current National Curriculum
  • Be able to provide two references which cover your most recent and relevant roles
