If you are AAT qualified or have a strong background working as an Accounts Clerk in practice, this role would be ideal for you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with bookkeeping tasks and maintaining financial records
  • Preparing and processing invoices, receipts, and payments
  • Reconciling accounts and ensuring accuracy of financial data
  • Assisting with monthly and year-end financial reports
  • Supporting the preparation of VAT returns and other regulatory filings
  • Managing client accounts and maintaining strong client relationships
  • General administrative duties, including filing and correspondence

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Previous experience in a similar role (ideally in an accountancy practice)
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Sage) and MS Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Good communication skills and a team player
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
