Working for an independent body set up by the Welsh Government who liaises with the public regarding their experiences of Health and Social Care across Wales.
Your new role
- Travel across Powys attending events and engaging with different communities
- Attend public-facing events hosted by partner organisations or community engagement stands
- Distribute and explain information about the organisation and services they offer to the public
- Work independently on outreach activities when required
What you'll need to succeed
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with confidence in engaging with the public
- Friendly, approachable, and able to build rapport quickly with people from all backgrounds.
- Comfortable working both outdoors and indoors at events or stands
- Must be able and willing to travel independently across Powys as part of the role
- Driver and access to own vehicle
- Must pass driving licence and DBS check
- Access to Newtown or Brecon office
What you'll get in return
- DBS fees covered by agency
- Temporary role for approx 6 months
- Full or part-time hours available
- 14.05 per hour
