Job Summary:

They are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organised Data Entry Clerk to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for entering a variety of data into their system, maintaining the integrity and accuracy of the data is essential, and ensuring it is stored in a manner that is accessible and secure.

Responsibilities:

  • Data Entry:Accurately input data from various document types and extracting the data for entry into our data management system.
  • Data Verification:Review and verify the accuracy of data entered, checking for errors and inconsistencies.
  • Data Maintenance:Update, correct, and modify existing data as required, ensuring it remains current and accurate.
  • Record Keeping:Maintain organised and accurate records of all data entries, including source documents.
  • Confidentiality:Handle sensitive information with discretion and ensure data is stored securely.
  • Reporting:Generate and prepare reports based on the data for internal use and analysis.
  • Communication:Liaise with team members and other departments to gather required data and clarify information.
  • Quality Control:Participate in quality control measures to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
  • System Management:Familiarise yourself with the data entry software and tools used by the company, troubleshooting minor issues when necessary.
  • Compliance:Ensure that all data entry tasks comply with company policies and relevant regulations.

Experience:

  • Experience:Previous experience in data entry is essential for this role.
  • Technical Skills:Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and experience with data entry software or databases an advantage but not essential
  • Typing Speed:Demonstrated ability to type quickly and accurately
  • Attention to Detail:Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy.
