Job Description:

Are you enthusiastic about nurturing the next generation of educators? Excell Supply is seeking resolute Early Years Childcare Teachers for supply roles in Oswestry, with a focus on teaching the next generation to care for early years children. Key Responsibilities:

  • Teaching Responsibilities: Delivering engaging, firsthand lessons that focus on the importance of early childhood development, care, and education. Inspire and guide students in developing the skills needed to work with young children.

  • Organisational & Administrative Responsibilities: Supporting students with their planning and preparation for practical childcare tasks, maintaining records of their progress, and helping them apply theoretical knowledge to real-life situations.

  • Research & Consultancy: Staying up to date with the latest research in early years education and sharing this knowledge with students. Advising and mentoring them as they prepare to enter the field of childcare and education.


Essential Qualifications & Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (desirable).
  • Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education (e.g., Level 3 Diploma or above).
  • Experience working in Early Years settings or primary education.
  • Passion for teaching and mentoring future childcare professionals.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills.
  • A commitment to the care and development of young children.
