Band 5 - Registered Nurse in an Orthopaedic hospital on an ADHOC/block booking basis
*Position Overview:*
In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients recovering from anaesthesia and surgical procedures, or undergoing rehabilliation services. Your primary focus will be on assessing patients, managing their recovery, and ensuring their comfort and safety following surgery, and rehabilitation programmes.
**Responsibilities:**
- Assessing and monitoring the patient's health
- Creating and updating the patient's plan of care
- Collaborating with the patient
- Administering medications and treatments
- Supporting physical rehabilitation
- Educating patients about their conditions and the steps needed for recovery
- Helping with casting and wound dressing for the recently injured
- Providing motion therapy for those recuperating from injuries
*Requirements:*
-Immunisation History report
-Bachelor's degree in Nursing
-Must be registered with the NMC with an up-to-date PIN number with no restrictions
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
