If you enjoy a diverse role that keeps you on your toes with no two days the same, we have the perfect role for you…… We're seeking a skilled Estate Maintenance Manager to be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of our client’s estate in the West Midlands. You’ll ensure all maintenance tasks related to buildings, grounds, and facilities are completed efficiently, safely and to the highest standard. This position is ideal for a practical, physically active individual who can work under their own initiative and is confident operating machinery.

The Company: An established and thriving family business, comprising a range of residential and commercial properties, woodlands, and several farms.

Role Responsibilities:

  • To perform regular maintenance of pathways, tracks, ditches and routine mowing and strimming
  • To undertake regular grassland management tasks
  • To perform basic repairs and maintenance of buildings and infrastructures
  • To ensure compliance with the company's health and safety regulations and practices
  • To undertake routine maintenance of machinery and equipment
  • To ensure a clean and well-maintained work environment at all times

Skills you will need:Essential:

  • The ability to operate a farm machinery and equipment (tractors, loaders, PTO and trailers)
  • The ability to work with strong attention to detail
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A strong work ethic with a "can do" attitude’
  • Good communication skills with the ability to follow instructions
  • Presentable and able to maintain a tidy workplace
  • Conscientious with a sense of personal pride in the work undertaken
  • A flexible work approach, willing to meet the needs of the business
  • UK driving licence

Desirable:

  • Qualified to operate diggers (up to 8 ton) - the client will happily train and pay for qualification
