This is a part time position 16 HRS per week, usually over four days.

At Meadowbrook court, we put our clients at the very centerof the services and care we provide. Our goal is to support our clients within the close care community. As a part of the Domestic Team your first duty is to professionally clean the residents homes, this is based on a regular rota, following a set of agreed parameters, the Ability to follow policies and procedures, including filling out paperwork is expected, and whilst experience in this field is preferred it is not essential as full training is given.

All of our support staff have a role to play in the ongoing care of the residents and as we are a regulated service you will also receive care training to support the rest of the team, offering you an opportunity to develop your role and career.

Leabrook Lodge has provided home care and extra living support in Shropshire for over 30 years, covering sites in Oswestry, Gobowen, Ellesmere and surrounding areas. There is excellent access and transportation, your main place of work is based next to the NHS Orthopaedic Hospital in Gobowen. And as a part of the wider care team, you will have further opportunity to work within the care sector within the community.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for committed and reliable Domestic Assistants, to join our expanding team. Duties involve cleaning client food preparation areas, living areas, sleeping areas and general support following an agreed process, all equipment, training and P.P.E. will be provided.

You will be working within a small team, supporting each other to provide a consistent service. In some cases, you will be the only professionals to regularly visit the home of the vulnerable and often elderly clients, so your ability to record and report on the ongoing needs, including care needs of the clients is pivotal to the support given and full training in this area is also given.
