In this role, you will be an integral part of the internal workshop, bridging the gap between creative design and fabrication.In this varied role you will be instrumental in linking creative design with fabrication, utilizing software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Fusion 360 to turn innovative concepts into tangible projects. This role requires managing a range of design projects with varying complexities alongside Production Managers, while generating detailed technical fabrication drawings for both the internal Workshop and external partners. You will also develop site and survey packs for installations and de-rigs, ensuring compliance with both company and client standards.This role is ideal for a Technical Designer looking to step into a creative position for a company that offers internal progression and an array of company benefits.The Role:
- Develop Conceptual Technical Drawings
- Create Precise Fabrication Drawings
- Reporting to Head of Production
The Person:
- Technical Design Experience in a Fabrication Background
- Proficient in 3D Design Software such as Vectorworks, Solidworks and Fusion 360)
- Knowledge of Fabrication Techniques
