ICT Support Assistant
12.82 per hour
Temporary role working M-F 9am-5pm (30-minute lunch break)

The role:
We are supporting our incredible client to recruit an ICT Support Assistant who will provide effective technical support across the charity's care and retail settings.
Main Duties of the ICT Support Assistant:
- Support staff and service users in a timely and approachable manner to ensure ICT equipment can be used effectively; troubleshoot basic technology issues; provide technical support and guidance to staff to develop ICT knowledge; coordinate and undertake equipment set up, configuration and relocation.
- Assist with the identification, development, testing, installation and rollout of new hardware, software and databases, providing basic training as needed.
- Administer hardware and software; maintain up-to-date asset and consumables inventories; support the procurement and disposal of equipment; assist in maintaining all ICT equipment in a clean and serviceable condition.
Candidate:
The successfully appointed ICT Support Assistant will:
- Be knowledgeable with Android, Apple, and Windows devices, smart devices, gaming and audio-visual equipment.
- Be able to Set up, maintain, and perform minor repairs on ICT equipment.
- Provide exceptional customer service.
- Have access to a car (mileage provided) as you will work 4 days in Oswestry and 1 day in Conwy.
- Hold a Level 4 or above (or equivalent) in an IT or numeracy related subject would be an advantage.
- Hold an NVQ, vocational qualification, recent graduate or equivalent would also be an advantage.
