An exciting position has come available for a Tier 1 contractor on the United Utilities (UU) water AMP7 framework for a experienced Process operator to work on a contract basis.

Role Requirements for you.
聽
Able to demonstrate knowledge of the Wastewater assets and processes and be comfortable in an operational environment. The nature of this activity maybe be physically demanding and will require you to be flexible in your approach with a mixture of proactive and reactive work orders.

Responsibilities:
聽
路Responsibility for process monitoring of the new plant
路Daily monitoring of the process operating parameters (MLSS, SSVI, final effluent analyses, sludge thickener performance, sludge, chemicals)
路Daily monitoring of equipment (oxidation ditch (inducers, blowers, instruments, ferric, caustic, sludge thickeners, etc)
路Monitoring of analysers, recalibration of instruments, ordering of reagents
路Adjustment of process parameters to maintain performance
路Reporting to Advance Plus process commissioning engineer
路Consultation with client, suppliers and Advance Plus process team
路Regular meetings with UU re progress, performance, etc
路Daily logs
路Ordering of chemicals as required (including ferric, caustic, poly, reagents, cuvettes for sampling analyses)
路Taking deliveries of chemicals
路Assisting Advance Plus team with shutdowns, access, etc
