Supply Teaching Assistant

Excell Supply is recruiting dedicated and flexible Primary Teaching Assistants to work on a supply basis across various schools in Oswestry. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience in diverse educational settings while making a positive impact on children's learning and development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting the class teacher in the delivery of lessons and classroom activities.
• Assisting children with their learning, providing additional support as needed.
• Helping to create a safe, stimulating, and positive learning environment.
• Assisting with classroom management, ensuring children are engaged and on task.
• Providing one-to-one or small group support for children with additional needs.
• Helping with the preparation of learning resources and classroom displays.
• Working collaboratively with other school staff to ensure a smooth and effective learning experience.

Requirements:

• Experience working with children in a school or educational setting is highly desirable.
• Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification desirable.
• A positive attitude and enthusiasm for working with children.
• Ability to adapt to different classroom environments and working with diverse student needs.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• A DBS check or willingness to undertake one.
