NVQ 3 Qualified Residential Support Workers are required for permanent AND Bank shifts in Children homes in the Rhewl area of Oswestry.

Do you like to keep fit and encourage others to participate in activities?
Can you commit to 2 on 4 off shift pattern (09.30 am-23.00 sleep in duty, wake at 07.30-23.00 *sleep in duty dependent)
Are you the Team player to:
Maintain boundaries and support colleagues manage behaviours that may challenge,
Support and participate in young people's social, life-long learning plans and recreational activities in line with care/ support plans, trips out and holidays.
Act as a Key worker to specified individual young person, taking on responsibility for specified areas of care and support. This includes ensuring all medical needs are met and supporting the young person to advocate his/her own needs and wishes.
Toencourage young people to maintain acceptable levels of personal and environmental hygiene.
The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
The ideal candidate must have:
NVQ 3 or Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent
Previous experience working with children with EBD and/or Learning Disabilities
