Fabricator

Recruit4staff is proud to be representing their client, a leading Manufacturing company in their search for an experienced  Fabricator to work in their leading Oswestry site.

For the successful Fabricator, our client is offering;

• £30,680 per year with up to 5% Bonus
• Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5pm
• Overtime paid at time and a half
• Permanent position
• Free parking
• 20 holidays increasing to 23 years by 5 years service 
  
  

The Role - Fabricator:

• Fabrication of plastic catchpits and bespoke fabrications.
• Fabrication of internal steelwork for bespoke chambers.
• Working from engineering drawings.
• General assembly work of Wheelbarrows and ATV Trailers.
• Recording of quality check sheets for ISO audits.
• Assisting in general warehouse duties.
• Ensuring and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
• Carry out all duties in accordance with health and safety guidelines
• Occasional site work may be required.
• Strong team player providing active, hands-on support for the fabrication team
  
  What our client is looking for in a Fabricator;
  
  
• MIG Welding experience.
• Plastic Extrusion welding experience.
• Plastic fabrication experience.
• Previous experience in a similar role - ESSENTIAL
• Fluent English essential.
• Current UK driving license - ESSENTIAL
• High level of professionalism and good communication skills
• Highly collaborative, organised, detail oriented with a strong ability to multi-task.
• The ability to work from technical drawings.
• Experience in the safe use of hand tools.
• Abrasive wheels certificate.
• Forklift truck license - PREFERRED
• CSCS card preferred but not essential.
