About Us:We are a vibrant and nurturing nursery group in the beautiful Otley and Ilkley area, dedicated to providing exceptional early years education. We are looking for enthusiastic nursery staff who share our passion for early childhood development, outdoor learning, and messy play.
Role Overview:We are seeking experienced and dedicated nursery staff to join our team. The ideal candidates will have a genuine love for working with young children and a creative approach to engaging them in outdoor learning and messy play activities. While driving is desirable for flexibility, it is not essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality care and learning experiences for children aged 0-5 years.
- Plan and deliver creative and engaging activities, with a focus on outdoor learning and messy play.
- Ensure a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for all children.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Work collaboratively with the team to support the development and well-being of every child.
- Embrace the nursery's ethos of exploration, creativity, and learning through play.
Requirements:
- Proven experience working in a nursery or early years setting (essential).
- Passion for early years education, outdoor learning, and creative play.
- Strong understanding of the EYFS framework.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Driving license is desirable but not essential.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
