West Yorkshire | Global Manufacturing Business | Fixed Term Contract (3 months) Immediate Start

Elevation Recruitment is working with a leading specialist machinery manufacturer in West Yorkshire, supporting global clients across multiple industries. Due to increased project demand, we are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join on a 3-month fixed-term contract, taking full ownership of key large-scale projects from start to finish.

This role is ideal for an immediately available contractor or an experienced manufacturing/engineering Project Manager looking for a short-term, high-impact role.

Project Manager Role Overview:

As a Project Manager, you will oversee end-to-end project delivery, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification. You will work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and external partners to manage resources, mitigate risks, and maintain high standards of quality and safety.

This role requires strong technical project management experience, the ability to work under pressure, and excellent communication skills to liaise with internal teams, suppliers, and clients.

Project Manager Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Management:

    • Lead projects from initiation to completion, ensuring smooth execution within agreed timescales and budgets.
    • Develop project objectives, define roles, set schedules, and establish milestones.
    • Identify risks, monitor project costs, and communicate budget changes to the General Manager.
    • Ensure customer expectations are met through strong stakeholder engagement.
  • Planning & Execution:

    • Plan and coordinate engineering, manufacturing, and installation teams to deliver successful projects.
    • Manage suppliers and external partners, ensuring timely delivery of materials and services.
    • Track project progress and provide updates to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
    • Ensure all resources (parts, labour, tools, and documentation) are ready for installation phases.
  • Compliance & Documentation:

    • Ensure health & safety compliance, preparing documentation such as RAMS and certifications.
    • Maintain accurate and comprehensive project documentation throughout the lifecycle.
    • Support audits and quality checks to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
  • Installation & Commissioning:

    • Oversee the installation phase, ensuring work is completed to customer specifications.
    • Work closely with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve issues on-site.
    • Conduct post-project reviews, gathering feedback to improve future project execution.
  • Customer & Internal Support:

    • Act as a key point of contact for clients and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Support the Technical Engineer with site surveys, risk assessments, and project organisation.
