This initiative marks a significant step in their strategic growth, as they aim to diversify their offerings and tap into the growing demand for flexible vehicle solutions. With a strong foundation in their existing business sectors, this new venture promises to bring innovative solutions to the market and enhance their overall portfolio of services. About the role:Our client is looking for a dynamic, pro-active and experienced Vehicle Leasing Manager to head this division, drive growth, and establish a strong foothold in the leasing market. Key Responsibilitiesof the Vehicle Leasing Manager:
  • Develop and implement a strategic plan for the new leasing division, ensuring alignment with company goals and market demand.
  • Create competitive leasing packages, optimise fleet management, and establish a high-performing leasing team.
  • Oversee vehicle procurement, fleet maintenance, and asset utilisation to ensure optimal availability and cost efficiency.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with B2B and retail clients.
  • Design tailored leasing solutions to meet client needs and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to establish a customer base and drive leasing volumes.
  • Recruit, train, and lead a team of leasing professionals.
  • Set performance standards, provide continuous training, and foster a customer-focused, results-driven culture.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements within the leasing industry.
  • Oversee budget planning, pricing strategies, and financial performance to meet profit targets.
 Skills/Experience required:
  • Extensive knowledge of the automotive leasing sector, including fleet management, leasing agreements, and financial structures, ideally with commercial vehicles. 
  • Minimum of four years in a leadership role within vehicle leasing, fleet management, or the automotive industry, preferably with experience launching new operations or departments.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities, with expertise in presenting ideas and negotiating contracts
  • Proficient in leasing software and CRM systems
  • Proven track record of building and managing teams, emphasing customer service and operational efficiency.
