Senior Quantity Surveyor
Location - West Yorkshire, North Yorkshire (Hybrid - 3 days in the office / 2 days from home)
A Senior Quantity Surveyor is required to join a Building Design Consultancy in West Yorkshire or North Yorkshire. They offer a broad range of services in Building Surveying, Civil & Structural, Highways and Drainage Engineering across many sectors including infrastructure, public buildings, industrial, education and housing.
Senior Quantity Surveyor - Benefits:

Senior Quantity Surveyor - The Role:
- Support the team with the commercial management of the business, with multiple projects on site at any one time
- Manage projects through the entire project lifecycle
- Prepare estimates, cost plans and tender documentation using various forms of measurement and contracts
- Provide accurate measurement for Schedule of Works and produce Bills of Quantities
- Build positive working relationships with clients, regularly attending site meetings
- Provide assistance to other disciplines within the company as part of a multi-disciplinary team
Senior Quantity Surveyor - Requirements:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or a relevant field
- Local Authority/Public Sector Experience
- Experience in the education, health, and housing sectors
- Working knowledge of industry standard contracts, such as JCT and NEC
- Strong pre- and post-contract knowledge
- Experience in cost forecasting, reporting, cost control, risk management, procurement option advice, and contract administration
